Please read these Terms before using the Site. By using the Video2Jpg website (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Who we are and what the Site offers

Video2Jpg (“we”, “us”, or “our”) runs a free in-browser video to image converter. You can convert video to JPG, PNG, or WebP and extract a single high-quality still or a full image sequence.

The Site currently provides:

  • the on-page converter, which runs in your browser with no video upload to our servers
  • a blog
  • these legal pages

The Site does not currently provide:

  • user accounts or logins
  • paid plans or conversion billing
  • server-side video storage or processing

2. Eligibility

You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement under the laws that apply to you. If you use the Site for an organization, you confirm you can bind that organization.

3. License to use the Site

We give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the Site for personal or internal purposes, under these Terms.

You may not:

  • overload, scrape in an abusive way, or disrupt the Site
  • try to break into our systems
  • reverse engineer non-public parts of the Site except where the law allows
  • use the Site to break the law or harm other people’s rights

4. The converter

4.1 Local processing

The converter reads a video you select and extracts frames on your device. We do not receive the video file or the exported images as part of that process.

Browser support, available memory, and the video codec can affect whether a file converts successfully. We do not promise that every file, device, or browser will work.

4.2 Your content and rights

You are responsible for the videos you process. Only use files you own or have permission to convert. Extracting frames does not give you rights you did not already have in the source video.

4.3 Other links

External links are for convenience only. We are not responsible for third-party sites or tools.

5. Acceptable use

When you use the Site or the converter, you agree not to:

  • process child sexual abuse material, or any sexual content involving minors
  • violate copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights
  • convert or distribute unlawful content under applicable law
  • make non-consensual intimate imagery or use extracted frames to harass, threaten, or impersonate others
  • attack or abuse infrastructure

We may block access or report abuse.

6. Intellectual property

6.1 Our Site content

Original Site text, layout, and branding are owned by Video2Jpg or its licensors. Do not copy the Site as a whole for commercial republishing without permission.

6.2 Your videos and extracted frames

We do not claim ownership of videos you process or frames the converter produces on your device. Rights in those files stay with you and the original rights holders.

6.3 Feedback

If you email ideas or feedback, you allow us to use them to improve the Site without paying you.

7. No accounts or paid products (current scope)

Right now the Site has no accounts and no paid conversion billing. The converter is free to use in your browser. If that changes, we will update these Terms and describe the new features clearly.

8. Disclaimers

THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not promise that:

  • the Site or converter will always work
  • every video, codec, or device will convert
  • extracted frames will be accurate, complete, or fit any particular purpose
  • blog articles are complete or always up to date

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, Video2Jpg AND ITS OPERATORS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR THE CONVERTER.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ABOUT THESE TERMS OR THE SITE IS CAPPED AT US $100, or the amount you paid us in the last 12 months (if any), whichever is higher.

Some places do not allow these limits; there we limit liability as much as the law allows.

10. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold Video2Jpg harmless from claims caused by your misuse of the Site, your breach of these Terms, or your use of videos and extracted frames in a way that harms others.

11. Changes and access

We may change the Site or these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept them. We may suspend access for abuse or legal risk.

12. Governing law

These Terms follow the laws of the operator’s principal place of business, unless mandatory consumer rules in your country say otherwise.
